My fellow Lions and Leos,

It is with great sadness I inform you of the recent passing of Past Council Chairman (PCC) Lion Raymon Leonard Shepherd MJF of the Lions Club of Port of Spain Central, Trinidad.

The late PCC Lion Raymon Leonard Shepherd MJF started his Lionistic journey in 1973. He served with diligence and dignity in many leadership roles including Club President, Zone Chairman, Deputy District Governor, Cabinet Secretary Treasurer and District Governor before holding the position of Council Chairman in 1987-1988.

A quantity-surveyor by profession, he was an avid sportsman and music enthusiast.

PCC Lion Raymon’s genuine passion for “Service from the Heart” is an inspiration for many of us. A Lion of diverse talents and interests, his impact on the numerous lives he has touched through his selfless acts of kindness is truly deep and long-lasting.

On behalf of the Lions and Leos of MD60, sincere condolences to his wife Patricia, children Cathy, Robert, Elizabeth, Christian and Bruce, his extended family, the Lions family of Port of Spain Central, and beyond and his many friends.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
